Chamomile & Whiskey

Night 1

It all started at a kitchen table in Nelson County… with a little whiskey poured into some Chamomile tea. From that night on, Koda Kerl and Marie Borgman and their compatriots have taken their eclectic brand of “Blue Ridge Mountain Rock and Roll” all over…

From dive bars, diners, theaters and clubs to front porches, festivals, casinos and caves…

From block party blacktop to old wooden saloons… rooftops and basements to pickup trucks and bateaus.

From field parties to weddings to donkey rescue fundraisers.

From Pascagoula to San Francisco… Red River, New Mexico to Portland, Maine… from Chicago to New Orleans.

The band has been around.

Now they bring the party back to one of the first venues to ever give them a shot, The Southern Cafe and Music Hall, for the band’s 1,000th show!

With four unique sets over two nights the band will celebrate their catalog and reminisce on the adventure of the last decade plus. They’ll mix brand new songs with old favorites and are always liable for surprises and special guests.

Friday, August 30th the band will play an acoustic, story telling set and

Saturday, August 31 - they will include a “Tribute to Outlaw Country.” Both evenings will also include full, electric sets from the band.

Come on down and help the band kickoff the next thousand shows in style.
