The Good Steal

The Good Steal is a band from Charlottesville, Virginia that intends to bring a new type of rock and roll music to the area. Three area musicians, Colin Thomas (guitar, songwriter), Chris Bell (bass), and Price Gillock (keys) came together with Bucky Henry (drums) of Virginia Beach, VA and Shamus Hogan (vocals) of Richmond, VA during their time at the University of Virginia. Although the band has been together for less than a year, they have managed to achieve significant local success by playing and composing 19 original tunes, winning a battle of the bands competition, opening up for Who's Bad and the Groove Train at The Jefferson Theatre, and recording a couple demo tracks with local producer Dave Stipe.
